HYDERABAD: Following clashes between two communities in Janwada village of Ranga Reddy district, the Cyberabad Police imposed prohibitory orders on Wednesday within the jurisdiction of Mokila Police Station.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty stated that clashes had occurred on Tuesday between two communities in Janwada village, within the limits of Mokila Police Station, resulting in rioting, injuries to individuals, and property damage. Several cases were registered at Mokila Police Station, Cyberabad, in connection with these incidents.

The Commissioner announced the imposition of prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC to prohibit gatherings of five or more persons in specific areas. Additionally, he implemented a ban on the entry of individuals who do not ordinarily resided or worked in the area from entering the limits of Mokila Police Station.

These orders will be effective from 12 am on February 14 to 11 pm on February 21 within the jurisdiction of Mokila Police Station under the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.

However, the order exempts police officers on duty, military personnel on duty, home guards on duty, funeral processions and marriage functions from its operation.

The Police Commissioner issued a warning that any person violating the aforementioned orders would be liable for prosecution.
