HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Narcotics and Anti-Illicit Liquor Bureau (TSNAB), in collaboration with Gachibowli Police, apprehended three drug suppliers and one drug consumer, seizing a substantial quantity of narcotics including Cocaine and MDMA, along with a four-wheeler.

The operation stemmed from the distressing case of a drug-addicted woman who had become a victim of hard drugs, being exploited by the suppliers. Unable to endure the torture, she sought help from WPS Bachupally, SHE Teams, Cyberabad, approaching a constable of TSNAB. Witnessing her pitiable state, Gachibowli PS staff, SOT Madhapur, and the State Task Force of TSNAB organized an extensive surveillance operation.

The joint effort of Cyberabad Police and TSNAB involved physical and electronic surveillance, identifying two routes of drug supply. The first route involved Bangalore-based Suleiman, an exploiter, along with Shaik Arman and Azeem, who supplied drugs. The second route was through Faisal, operating from Goa, along with Arqamum and Abdullah from Musheerabad.

The victim frequented pubs such as Artistry Pub, Air-Live Pub, and Club Rouge, where she befriended Suleiman, who supplied MDMA and Cocaine from Bombay free of cost. This initiated her vulnerability and exploitation. The investigation revealed contacts with other drug consumers, leading to the identification of 20 names. Out of the tested 9 individuals, 3 tested positive for Cocaine and Ganja.

On February 2, TSNAB sleuths, along with Gachibowli Police, apprehended four persons near My Home Vihanga Apartment, seizing 10 grams of Cocaine, 13 grams of MDMA, 5 cell phones, and a four-wheeler from their possession.

The main drug peddlers, Suleman Bin Abubakar, Shaik Armaan, and Arqamum Hussain, were friends involved in narcotic drug peddling. They expanded their business by frequenting pubs and befriending new people. They supplied drugs to consumers like Mithuna, Priya, Ratan, Sahil, and others, charging high prices. The investigation revealed connections with drug suppliers in Bangalore and Goa.

The accused Suleman Bin Abubakar and Shaik Armaan procured drugs from Bangalore on January 30. On February 2 Mithuna ordered Cocaine from them, leading to their apprehension and the subsequent seizure of narcotics and other materials.
