Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge will be closed for regular traffic for awareness program on October 4

HYDERABAD: The Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge will be closed to regular traffic for the Election Commission of India's 'Cycling to Vote and Walkathon' awareness program on October 4, 2023, from 5:30am to 8:30am.

Cyberabad Traffic Police have taken extensive measures to ensure smooth traffic flow on October 4 between 5:30am and 8:30am.

Cycling and walkathon route: Middle of the Cable Bridge - Inorbit Mall - My Home Abbra U-turn - ITC Kohinoor - ends in the middle of the Cable Bridge.

Traffic diversion points

Road No 45 towards Gachibowli via Cable bridge: Traffic coming from Road No 45 via Cable bridge towards Gachibowli will be diverted from Kavuri Hills, Madhapur L&O PS - left turn – COD junction – straight – Cyber towers.

Bio-Diversity towards Cable Bridge: Traffic coming from Bio-Diversity Jn towards Cable bridge will be diverted towards Cyber towers- COD- Road No. 45.

Meenakshi junction towards Cable bridge: Traffic coming from Menakshi Jn towards Cable bridge will be diverted from IKEA rotary – Left turn - Cyber towers- COD- Road No. 45.

Road Closing Points

Cable Bridge Up & Down Ramps: Traffic coming from road No – 45 will be diverted towards Madhapur L&O PS

COD Junction

Traffic coming from COD Jn towards Durgam cheruvu will be closed and diverted towards Cyber Towers Jn.

ITC Kohinur back side road towards cable bridge. These lanes will be closed and Traffic will be diverted to Knowledge city road – Dallas Center road – Skyview Lane – NCB Jn.

IKEA rotary towards Cable bridge

Traffic coming from Bio-Diversity Jn will be diverted to Cyber towars- COD- Road No. 45 .

Mind space road towards Cable bridge

Traffic coming from Mind space will be diverted to Cyber towars- COD- Road No. 45 .

IKEA Flyover will be closed

Traffic coming from Menakshi Junction will be diverted at IKEA rotary - Cyber towers- COD- Road No. 45 .

Restriction of heavy vehicles

Note: On October 4, 2023 Tuesday from 5:30am to 8:30am Heavy vehicles i.e Trucks, Lorries, DCM’s, RMC and Water Tankers will not be allowed in the above routes in view of “Cycling to Vote and Walkathon awareness programme” on the following roads.

The Movement of heavy vehicles would be restricted on the above mentioned roads. Cyberabad traffic police has appealed to the concerned stakeholders and commuters to consider the above advisory to ensure smooth flow of Traffic.
