GHMC to increase median, avenue plantation drives in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Ronald Rose has informed that the civic body will undertake median and avenue plantation along the roads as part of green drive in the city.

A massive plantation drive was taken up from Suraram Katta to Maisamma pond,Shahpur Nagar in Kukatpally zone on Saturday in which Ronald Rose participated along with Quthbullapur MLA Vivekanand.

Saplings arranged by Agears Federal and Rotary Club of Lake, Moinabad were planted on a 5-km stretch on the median. Volunteers also participated in the 2k run organised by the GHMC on the occasion.
