Here's how you can purchase NTR's commorative coin

HYDERABAD: The N T Rama Rao Commemorative Coin will be available for purchase through various mediums beginning August 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.

President Droupadi Murmu unveiled the currency as part of NTR's centenary celebrations on Monday. The 44MM coin featuring NTR's image is marked with a commemorative timestamp of 1923-2023 to signify NTR’s centenary celebrations.

The NTR coin, priced at Rs 4,160, is available for purchase at any bank or Reserve Bank counter across India, and can also be purchased online on the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India's official website.

The commemorative coin would also be sold at both the Saifabad Mint selling counter and the IG Mint Cherlapally retail counter. The coin also features three lions and the Ashoka Chakra on one side, while the other side has NTR's image with Hindi inscription 'Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Satajayanti'.
