HYDERABAD: The remand report submitted to the court in the case pertaining to a rave party busted in Madhapur by the Gudimalkapur police revealed that the accused had procured the drugs from Bengaluru and organised the rave party involving Nigerians, drug peddlers and consumers.

K Bhaskar Balaji (34), Karumuri Venkata Ratna Reddy (48) and D Murali (43) were identified as three main accused in the remand report and 21 persons of the rave party were absconding. Among them, there were several noted personalities related to the film industry who were also reportedly involved in the rave party and in previous cases, revealed the remand report.

“Balaji and Venkat have procured the drugs from Bengaluru and used them in the rave party. As many as 29 cases are filed against Venkat in two Telugu speaking states. Among the drug consumers, three are from Nigeria and one from Visakhapatnam,” the remand report revealed.
