HYDERABAD: Hyderabad continues to be a top destination for builders aiming for the sky with almost 10 skyscrapers set to come up in the city in the next few years. All these skyscrapers, ranging above 50 floors, will come up in Puppalaguda, Kokapet, Serilingampally, Kokapet Golden Mile and Kokapet Golden Mile layout.

In the last few years, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) has given permission for the construction of 10 skyscraper projects that rise up to 50 to 59 floors. The official deadline for the completion of these prestigious projects coming up in and around Puppalaguda, Kokapet and Serilingampally is between 2026 and 2029.

Taking to Twitter, Telangana Special Chief Secretary (MA&UD) Arvind Kumar said, “Hyderabad- sky is the limit - re-shaping the skyline! Top 10 highest building plan approvals- ranging from 50 -59 floors. At least five of these are in Neopolis/ Kokapet. As it is, we are second after Mumbai in high rise buildings.”

Giving a detailed outline of the prestigious skyscraper projects coming up in Hyderabad, Arvind Kumar said that the tallest building in Hyderabad with a total of 59 floors, once completed, would be Candeur Skyline, which is coming up at Puppalaguda. The permissions for the project were given on April 1 and the official deadline for the completion of the project is March 20, 2029.

The other prestigious projects followed by SAS Crown at Kokapet, Gold Mile come up with 58 floors and the official deadline for the completion of the project is March 26, 2027. Another project, the Trilight Tower-I and III with 57 floors and 50 floors respectively, will come up at Kokapet and the official deadline for the completion of the project is October 1, 2027. At Puppalaguda, the Srias Diamond Towers skyscraper with 55 floors is expected to be completed by 2026, he said.
