With seven wins from nine matches, Australia enters the semifinals with confidence. In the recent match against Bangladesh, Australia clinched a resounding 8-wicket win.
Australia displayed dominance while chasing a target of 307. Despite Travis Head's early dismissal, the duo of David Warner (53) and Mitchell Marsh (177*) forged a formidable 120-run partnership for the second wicket. Warner, having contributed with a fifty, departed, but Steven Smith (63*) provided crucial support to Marsh, guiding their team to victory. Marsh, in the process, achieved his highest ODI score.
