International kite, sweet festival at Parade grounds between Jan 13-15

HYDERABAD: The International Kite and Sweet Festival will be held at Secunderabad Parade Grounds from January 13 to 15, 2023, announced State Government Youth Advancement Tourism, Culture Department Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer on Tuesday.

The Telangana Tourism Development Corporation reviewed the international kite and sweet festival arrangements at their Hyderabad office on Tuesday.

She asked the concerned authorities to ensure medical camps, uninterrupted power supply, and sanitary arrangements to avoid inconvenience for the participants at the international kite and sweet festival.

She also asked Hari Krishna, Director of Language and Culture of the State, to organize cultural programs for three days during the kite festival.

The meeting was attended by various officials including the Commissioner of State Medical and Health Department Karnan, Director of Tourism Department Nikhila, Director of State Language and Culture Department Mamidi Harikrishna, and Assistant Director of Tourism Department Mahesh.
