HYDERABAD: Hyderabad once again hogged the limelight at the national level in education with city lad Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy bagging the first rank in the country in the JEE Advanced Exams 2023. The results of the prestigious IIT entrance examination were announced on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

Chidvilas Reddy emerged the top ranker in the exam, conducted by IIT Guwahati this year, with an exceptional score of 341 out of 360 marks.

The JEE Advanced 2023 turned out to be a double delight for the Hyderabad zone as Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree secured the first rank among the female aspirants, scoring an impressive 298 marks.

An official from IIT Guwahati revealed that, out of a staggering 1,80,372 students who appeared for both papers of the IIT-JEE Advanced, a total of 43,773 students qualified for further evaluation. Among the qualified candidates, 36,204 are male aspirants while 7,509 are girl students who have successfully cleared the JEE Advanced 2023.

Interestingly, as many as 10,432 aspirants from the Hyderabad zone qualified in the JEE Advanced examination this year. This impressive feat further reinforces the city's reputation as a hub of exceptional talent and academic excellence.
