HYDERABAD: Jubilee Hills Public School chairman A Murali Mukund was placed on 14 days of judicial remand by Nampally Court in connection with a maid rape case on Tuesday.

He allegedly threatened and sexually assaulted his domestic help, according to reports. Based on the victim's complaint, the Banjara Hills police registered a complaint and apprehended him.

Later he was produced at the residence of the judge of Nampally court. Police have confiscated his passport and cellphone, and are currently searching for Murli Mukund's son.
