Junctions to avoid for Hyderabad commuters on Republic Day 2023

HYDERABAD: The road stretch between Somajiguda junction to VV Statue Junction (Khairatabad) may see light traffic congestion from 3 pm to 9 pm due to different events planned on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26, 2023.

Traffic congestion is expected at junctions such as Somajiguda, Monappa Island (Rajiv Gandhi Statue), Raj Bhavan Metro Station, VV Statue Junction (Khairatabad) and Raj Bhavan Quarters Road (Metro Residency), which will be blocked for general traffic on both sides during the above timings.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have appealed to the city commuters to follow the above traffic advisory and avoid the above-mentioned junctions that may witness traffic congestion and plan their travel accordingly during this period.
