HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday launched a coffee table book named 'Telangana Pragathi Patham', which showcases the details of the progress of the state in various departments such as Irrigation Department, Industries Department, Medical Department, Tribal Welfare Department, Handloom Textiles Department, Urban Infrastructure Department, IT Department, Finance Department, etc. at secretariat.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister recalled the way the state had prospered in the last 10 years and stated that it was not an easy task to make the state compete with the other states and stand at the top in the country within a span of 10 years.

He said that "Telangana Pragathi Patham" prepared by the state government on the occasion of decennial celebrations of the formation of the state would give the answers to all those who expressed doubts about the administration and criticized the Telangana people in the early days after the formation of the state.

KCR further said that the development achieved by the state in various fields stood as a guide to the country and opined that most of the states in the country were looking towards Telangana model development.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister felicitated the Coordinator of the Telugu Department of the State Council for Educational Research and Training Suvarna Vinayak along with the member Sambaraju Ravi Prakash, Chief Secretary's OSD Vidyasagar and others, who prepared the book "Telangana Pragathi Patham" by translating into Telugu.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Finance Secretary Sridevi, and other officials were present on the occasion of the book launch at the state secretariat.
