HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister for IT and Industries KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Wednesday underscored the need for leveraging the technology as it was the future for sustainable mobility. KTR inaugurated the Digital Hub office of Netherlands-based mobility tech company Stellantis at BSSR Tech Park, Nanakramguda in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion , KTR expressed his firm belief in the future of sustainable mobility. As the need for sustainability grew in importance, leveraging technology became crucial for having a positive impact on various sectors. “Every single citizen in the plant realizes the importance of making it more and more sustainable. And it is when leveraging technology becomes that much more important,” KTR said.

KTR emphasized that people worldwide were increasingly recognizing the significance of fostering sustainable modes of transportation. The existing collaboration between Stellantis and Telangana Mobility Valley, highlighted his anticipation for a continued association. Laying emphasis on the availability of talent in Hyderabad, the Minister said the projections for recruitment made by new tech companies coming to Hyderabad were usually shattered in much less time. “This city is brimming with talent. This city attracts talent from world over. This is the city that can give you a lot more scope for expansion,” KTR said.

Highlights of Stellantis Digital Hub in Hyderabad

Stellantis has played a strategic role in inviting Plug and Play, a global digital accelerator and a prominent early investor in Google, Paypal, and Dropbox to set up their office in Hyderabad. The company has engineering operations in Chennai and Pune as well.

KTR opens Rite Software's facility in Hyderabad; asks tech firms to tap rural talent

Telangana Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao (KTR) called upon tech firms to reach out to two-tier cities of Telangana and employ local talent who have fire in the belly.

The Minister said this after inaugurating Rite Software’s new facility in Nanakramguda of Hyderabad on Wednesday. “Hyderabad has become a resource capital in the country. But, there is talent in the two-tier towns of Telangana. Go there and you will find young people with fire,” KTR said.

Congratulating Rite Software for setting up their facility in Hyderabad that would create 1,000 jobs in three years, the Minister wanted the company to look for talent in Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Khammam and Karimnagar.

He said that the plug-and-play IT park, spread over one-lakh square feet, in Siddipet could be an alternative if Rite Software wanted to speed up its expansion plans.
