Lack of civic sense: mischievous customers lick snacks, put back in counters in Lulu Mall

HYDERABAD: Residents of Hyderabad have received a lot of outrage on social media from neitzens after many videos of shoppers consuming refreshments without paying at the recently launched Lulu Mall went viral.

Several videos shared on social media revealed Hyderabad shoppers at the Lulu Mall devouring or partially devouring snacks like biscuits, cakes, chocolates, samosas, soft drinks, fruits, and other consumables were seen discarded on the mall's floors.

Empty and half-empty packets of biscuits, banana chips, croissants, juice bottles, cold drinks, chips, fruits, and pastries were seen left open and consumed on the mall premises.

The customers not only obstructed traffic in and around the Lulu Mall, but also plundered, creating disruption to commuters in the last three days. They also gobbled, licked food, and left half-eaten packages in the shelves despite CCTV cameras at the mall, and drew a lot of backlash on social media from neitzens.

The grand opening of LuLu Mall in Kukatpally on September 27 drew enormous crowds eager to explore the expansive shopping area.
