Markazi Milad Juloos Committee announces procession on October 1

HYDERABAD: The Markazi Milad Juloos Committee Hyderabad announced on Tuesday that the Juloos would be taken out on October 1 at the Mecca Masjid in Charminar.

According to committee member Maulana Hafeez Mohd Muzaffar, the procession which was originally slated for September 28 was rescheduled to October 1 due to the Vinayaka Visarjan procession on September 28, 2023.

The procession was scheduled on October 1, 2023, following thorough discussions among various groups involved in the event.

DCP Venkateshwar Rao of the Hyderabad Central Zone encouraged devotees to immerse Ganesh idols at any time on the third, sixth, and ninth days. He said that they were making preparations for police presence in the background of Ganesh celebrations. He said that they were also making plans for both festivals to take place in a pleasant environment.

The committee called for a respectful and cooperative celebration of Prophet Mohammed's birthday, celebrated on September 28, 2023.
