National Integration Day: Roads to avoid in Hyderabad on September 17

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have imposed traffic restrictions for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit in the city on September 17, 2023. Amit Shah would be attending the ‘National Integration Day' celebrations at the Parade Grounds on Saturday.

Follow these traffic diversions to avoid traffic congestion

General Public is requested to avoid roads towards Parade Grounds, Secunderabad and surrounding roads of Parade Ground. Road between Tivoli X-roads to Plaza X-roads would be closed.

General passengers who are intending to travel by morning trains of Secunderabad Railway Station and JBS are requested to start early to reach Railway station in time as there will be traffic congestion at the following junctions

• Chilkalguda X roads
• Alugadda Bai X roads
• Sangeeth X roads
• YMCA X roads
• Patny X roads
• SBH X roads
• Plaza
• CTO Junction
• Brookbond junction
• Tivoli Junction
• SweekarUpakar junction
• Secunderabad Club
• Trimulgherry X roads
• Tadbund X roads
• Centre Point
• Diamond Point
• Bowenpally X roads
• Rasoolpura, Begumpet

DIVERSION POINTS FOR GENERAL PUBLIC:

• Traffic Coming from CTO towards Secunderabad would not be allowed from the road beside the parade ground. Plaza X-roads to SBI X-road road would be closed. Traffic allowed through YMCA flyover only.
• Traffic coming from Bowenpally, Tadbund, towards Tivoli would be diverted at Brooke Bond towards CTO
• Traffic coming from Karkhana, JBS towards SBH-Patny would be diverted at Sweekar Upkar towards Tivoli-Brook bond - Balamrai-CTO
• Traffic coming from Karkhana, JBS towards SBH-Patny would be diverted at Sweekar Upkar towards YMCA – Clock Tower – Patny (Depending on situation)
• Traffic coming from SBI, vehicles would not be allowed towards Sweekar Upkar, The same will be diverted towards YMCA or CTO.
• Traffic Coming from RTA Trimulgherry, Karkhana, Malkajgiri, Safilguda towards Plaza would be diverted at Tivoli towards Sweekar-upkar, YMCA or Brook bond, Balamrai, CTO
• Road between Tivoli X-roads to Plaza X-roads both sides would be closed.
• Aspirants who are attending the UPSC Civil Service Mains Exam would be allowed at the barricading points on showing their Hall Ticket/ID Card.
