Quarrel with wife: Drunk man jumps to death from Balanagar flyover in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A heavily drunk man died by suicide by jumping from a flyover in Balanagar of Hyderabad on Monday night.

The deceased, identified as Bhukya Ashok, was a worker at a welding shop and living with his wife Reshma Begum in Balanagar. The couple was reportedly involved in frequent quarrels, which is believed to have driven Ashok to the extreme step.

It is learned that Ashok had already attempted suicide once in the past by slitting his wrist. On Monday night, he reportedly threatened to die by suicide following a fight with his wife.

Based on a complaint from his wife, the police have registered a case and are investigating it.
