Rajendranagar traffic constable performs CPR, saves life of man; Minster Harish Rao hails cop

HYDERABAD: A constable of Rajendranagar Traffic Police Station has rescued a patient who had suffered a heart attack on the roadside, winning laurels from Health Minister T Harish Rao and a lot of others.

Rajasekhar, the constable was on duty, when he found a commuter named Balaji, who stays in LB Nagar, suddenly fell at Aramghar.

Immediately, Rajasekhar administered Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation on the patient and resuscitated him. The timely administration of CPR by the constable helped Balaji survive.

The Cyberabad Police tweeted saying: “Commendable efforts of Shri Rajasheker, a constable from the Rajendranagar PS, who demonstrated exceptional professionalism and presence of mind in saving a precious life. Upon recognising the critical situation, he promptly administered CPR to the person, leading to their recovery.”

After administering CPR, the patient was shifted to a nearby hospital. The Cyberabad Police announced: “With great relief, we announce that the individual is now doing well.

Tweeple in large number commended the service of Rajsekhar.

Minister for Medical and Health T Harish Rao in his tweet said: “Highly appreciate traffic police Rajashekhar of Rajendranagar PS for doing a commendable job in saving precious life by immediately doing CPR. #Telangana Govt will conduct CPR training to all frontline employees & workers next week inview of increasing reports of such incidents.”
