Routes to avoid on April 21 due to Ramzan prayers in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad traffic police issued a traffic advisory on Thursday in view of JUMMAT-UL-VIDA (the last Friday of Ramzan month) prayers at the Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad and the Jame-e-Masjid in Secunderabad on April 21, 2023.

The main roads between Charminar and Madina, Charminar and Murgi Chowk, and Charminar and Rajesh Medical Hall, Shalibanda would be blocked to all vehicular traffic on April 21, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Traffic will be diverted at the following points in South Zone

Madina Junction: Traffic heading from Nayapul to the Charminar will be redirected at Madina junction towards City College.

Himmatputa: Traffic heading towards Charminar from Nagulchintha/Shalibanda will be redirected at Himmatpura Junction, via Hari Bowli and Volga Hotel T Junction (Khilwat side).

Chowk Maidan Khan: Traffic from Kotla Alijah to Charminar will be redirected at Chowk Maidan Khan to the side of Hafiz Danka Masque and Arman Hotel.

Motigalli : Traffic heading from Moosabowli to Charminar will be diverted at Motigalli to Khilwath ground, Rajesh Medical Hall Shalibanda, and Fathe Darwaza Road.

Ethebar Chowk : Traffic heading from Etebar Chowk to Gulzarhouse will be redirected at Etebar Chowk to Mandi Miralam Market or Bibi Bazar.

Sher Batil Kaman : Traffic from Mitti Ka Sher will not be permitted to enter Gulzar House and will be diverted from Mitti-ke-Sher Junction to Ghansi Bazaar in order to access High Court Road / Khilwath.

Lakkad Kote

Traffic from Dabirpura (former APAT) will be diverted at Lakkad Kote and directed towards (former CP Office lane), Mandi Mirlam Market. (Need basis)

Parking places in the limits of traffic South Zone

Gulzar Function Hall : Devotees travelling from Madina and Pathargatti will park their vehicles at Gulzar Function Hall (parking arrangements must be made by the Inspector of Traffic PS Mirchowk).

Mufeed ul Anam Ground parking : Devotees travelling from Yakuthpura-Noorkhab Bazar, Talab katta, and Dabeerpura will park at Mufid Ul Anam Grounds. (The Inspector of Traffic PS. Mirchowk needs to make arrangements for parking in this ground).

Charminar Bus terminal parking : Devotees from Chandrayangutta and Falaknuma will park their cars at Charminar Bus Terminal. (The Inspector of Traffic police station Charminar will be in charge of this parking).

Ayurvedic Unani Hospital Parking : The devotees coming from Santooshnagar Talab Katta Moghalpura will park their vehicles at AU Hospital parking. (The Inspector Traffic police station Charminar will look after this parking).

Khilwat Ground parking : The Devotees coming from Misrigunj, Fathe Darwaza, Hussaini alam and Puranapool sides will park their vehicles at Khilwat Ground. (The Inspector Traffic police station Bahadurpura will look after this parking) Old Pension office/URDU Maskan Opp

Chowmohalla Palace: The traffic coming from the western side of the Mecca Masjid i.e Kishanbagh Bahadurpura Hussanui Alam will park their vehicles at the above mention parking places. (The Inspector Tr PS. Bahadurpura will look after this parking)

GHMC Office Sardar Mahal: Vehicle parking for Police Officers on duty.

North Zone

From 9.00 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Subhash route in Secunderabad (between Mahankali PS and Ramgopalpet Road Junction on the MG route) will be blocked to vehicular traffic. Traffic would flow effortlessly from Rocha Bazar to Ranigunj.

Traffic heading from Bata X Roads to Subhash Road will be detoured at Mahankali P.S. to the lane to the left of the P.S. and then to Lala Temple.

These restrictions also apply to RTC buses. Afzalgunj will be the final stop for city buses heading to Charminar. RTC buses (Rayalaseema Sector) travelling to districts from MGBS, Imlibun will take the following routes: Chadarghat Rotary Nalgonda X Road - Chanchalguda - Saidabad T Junction - I.S Sadan - DMRL Junction - Midhani Junction - MBNR Fly above Bandlaguda on your way to Aramghar.
