A pub in Hyderabad, where music was shut at 10 pm sharp

HYDERABAD: Jubilee Hills police on Sunday booked against six pubs for operating beyond hours on New Year's Eve on Sunday.

According to Jubilee Hills inspector P Ravinder Prasad, two pubs, Greece Moneky and Lift, were booked for operating after hours. They were permitted to operate the pub until 1 a.m., but they did so until 1:30 a.m.

Pubs such as Xena Brewery and Kitchen, Makau Kitchen and Bar, Halo Cocktail Bar & Kitchen and TARO - Pan Asian Restaurant & Bar were booked for causing noise pollution and disturbing locals with loud music.

Notices were served on the owners and management of these pubs, said Jubliee Hills Inspector P Ravinder Prasad.
