HYDERABAD: Several burqa-clad students were questioned for wearing burqas during their final examinations at St. Pious College in Hyderabad on Friday.

According to reports, concerns emerged when certain students alleged they had been cautioned against wearing burqas. The students and parents held discussions with the college management regarding the burqa issue. However, the students were reportedly questioned for wearing burqas for their exams even on March 1, 2024.

The college has not yet issued any official statement regarding the contentious issue.
