Taraka Ratna extremely critical; Jr NTR, Kalyan Ram rush to Bengaluru

HYDERABAD: Tollywood actor siblings Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram on Sunday morning rushed to Bengaluru to pay a visit to their cousin Taraka Ratna who is battling for life following a massive heart attack in Kuppam on January 27.

Accompanied by their spouses, both Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram took an early morning flight to Bengaluru from the Rajiv Gandhi Airport in Shamshabad. On their arrival in the Karnataka capital, they will rush to the Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences, popularly known as Narayana Hrudayalaya.

The Nandamuri scion Taraka Ratna is being treated at the hospital by a team of doctors since the time he was shifted there from Kuppam in the early hours of Saturday. Taraka Ratna collapsed while participating in the Yuva Galam padayatra of TDP National General Secretary on its launch day in Kuppam.

After initial treatment at KPC Hospital in Kuppam, he was shifted in an ambulance to Narayana Hrudayalaya for better treatment. According to reports, he continues to be in an extremely critical condition even as reports claimed that his coronary arteries showed 95 percent blockages. He is the grandson of the legendary NTR and son of Mohan Krishna. The entire Nandamuri family, well-wishers and the TDP supporters are spending anxious moments while praying for his recovery.
