HYDERABAD: The Telangana government is hosting a ''The Food Conclave 2023' in Hyderabad on April 28 and 29, 2023.

The event would bring together top 100 Agri-food leaders for panel talks, roundtables, and one-on-one sessions to discuss how India can capitalise on opportunities in the Agri-food industry.

Telangana government invites reels depicting Happening Hyderabad

Telangana's successful journey to becoming one of India's most progressive states over the last nine years has been quite evident. The state government believes that highlighting the state's transformation stories is important since Telangana is India's youngest and fastest growing state, and with its capital city Hyderabad's phenomenal progress towards becoming a Global IT and Innovation Hub.

The Telangana Government's Digital Media Wing, ITE&C Department, has introduced the Hyderabad Short-Video Contest to facilitate this. The aim of this competition is to create Short-Videos that portray the transformation stories of one of India's largest cities, Hyderabad.

The content needs to be created in Reels format (vertical short form videos), for Social Media Publishing. The content should have been created post January 1, 2023, failing which the entry would be disqualified. The videos should not exceed 60 seconds length and should be suitable for posting on Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels or Youtube Shorts.

The reels can be created on topics like

Roads, Buildings and Public Transport Infrastructure,Tourism, Language, Culture, Heritage Restorations, Nature, Greenery & Water Bodies, Industry and Information Technology, Education and Healthcare Initiatives and Citizen welfare on platforms like Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

This competition is open for all (above 18 years old), including amateurs and professionals. The selected content would be published on State Government Social Media Accounts, including on @DigtialMediaTS.

Prizes would be announced based on a selection process, involving a prominent jury. 3 Winners will be announced. Winner (1st Prize), First Runner-up (2nd Prize) and Second Runner-up (3rd Prize) and further Consolation prizes would be awarded. Appreciation Certificates shall be shared to the winners, along with the Prize money announced.

The prize money for the winners includes Prize money of Rs 50,000 for winners, Rs 25,000 for first Runner-up, Rs 10,000 for second runner up and Rs 5,000 each for three consolation prizes.

The results would be announced by May second week and final Submission and Contest ends on April 30, 2023.
