Three killed as lorry overturns, hits a tempo on Hyderabad ORR

HYDERABAD: Atleast three people have been declared dead and three others sustained serious injuries after a lorry overturned and hit a tempo traveller on the Shameerpet-Keesara stretch of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Ranga Reddy district on Monday.

According to police and locals, a lorry traveling from Ghatkesar to Medchal lost control and flipped over the divider colliding with an oncoming Tata Ace vehicle on the other side.

Two people travelling in the tempo along with the lorry driver died on the spot while three others travelling in a Bolero vehicle sustained severe injuries.

The police immediately rushed the injured to the hospital for treatment. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
