Traffic advisory: Key routes affected on April 25-26 in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: In anticipation of the visit by Jagdeep Dhankar, the Vice President of India, at HITEX exhibition centre on April 26, 2024, and with other delegates attending the event from across the state, Cyberabad traffic police have made arrangements for traffic diversion to ensure smooth traffic flow on the following routes.
Offices located between Kavuri Hills and Kothaguda Junction, Hi-tech city MMTS station to IKEA Rotary, may stagger their work timings accordingly or conduct their work from home to avoid inconvenience.
Commuters are advised to use alternative roads to avoid traffic congestion on April 26, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Some alternative routes include
- Traffic from Road No – 45, Cable Bridge towards Biodiversity Junction and Gachibowli Junction may take diversion at Madhapur L&O PS, COD, Durgam Cheruvu, I labs, ITC Kohinoor via Knowledge and vice versa and avoid Cable Bridge and Cyber Tower Junction.
- Traffic from Miyapur, Kothaguda, Hafeezpet areas towards Hitec city – Cyber Towers – Jubilee Hills via Khanamet and Kothaguda may use Rolling Hills - AIG Hospital – IKEA – Inorbit – Durgam Cheruvu road and avoid Hitex Junction and Cyber Towers Junction.
Restrictions for heavy vehicles are as follows
- Kavuri Hills towards Kothaguda.
- Hitex Junction towards NAC.
- Cable Bridge towards IKEA.
- Biodiversity towards MMTS Station.

Traffic advisory for Genome Valley event on April 26
In anticipation of the visit by Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankar at Bharath Biotech, Genome Valley on April 26, 2024, and with other delegates attending the event from across the state, Cyberabad Traffic Police have made arrangements for the smooth flow of traffic.
Commuters are advised to avoid the following routes on April 26, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Traffic coming from Rajeevrahadari to Bharath Biotech.
- Traffic coming from Koltur Village to Bharath Biotech.
The traffic police has requested the commuters to follow the above advisory and cooperate with the traffic police to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
Traffic Advisory in view of Congress corner meeting in Attapur on April 25
To facilitate the seamless flow of traffic, this notice serves to inform the public that the Indian National Congress (INC) Party is conducting a corner meeting and road show from Pillar No. 152 to Pillar No. 121 at Attapur, Rajendranagar Traffic PS. Commuters are advised to avoid the following routes on April 25, 2024, from 4 p.m to 8 p.m.:
- Traffic coming from Aramghar and moving towards Mehdipatnam.
- Traffic coming from Mehdipatnam and moving towards Aramghar.
