TSRTC offers 10% discount to passengers travelling between Hyderabad, Vijayawada

HYDERABAD: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) on Thursday announced a 10 percent discount for bus passengers travelling between Hyderabad and Vijayawada.

According to TSRTC, this discount would also apply to Super Luxury and Rajdhani AC services on that route. They indicated that the 10 percent off would only be offered through April 30, 2023.

"Since the Vijayawada route is busy, we decided to offer a 10 percent discount on super luxury and Rajdhani AC services in order to ease their financial burden. This concession is limited only in the Hyderabad-Vijayawada-Hyderabad route. For example, if a passenger wants to travel from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam on the Rajdhani AC service, he will receive a 10 percent discount on his ticket until Vijayawada. The discount would save between Rs.40 and Rs.50 each traveller. Passengers should take advantage of this special offer, which is valid until the 30th of this month," said TSRTC Chairman Baji Reddy Govardhan.

"TSRTC is providing concessions to passengers who make advance reservations," TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar remarked. He indicated that reservations made between 31 and 44 days in advance receive a 5 percent discount, and reservations made between 45 and 60 days in advance receive a 10 percent discount.
