HYDERABAD: The TSRTC management has decided to withdraw Family-24 and T-6 tickets in the Greater Hyderabad region, starting from January 1, 2024. The corporation took the decision considering the increased footfall in its buses by the Mahalakshmi scheme.

TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar said that conductors were required to check passengers' identity cards and input their age to issue Family-24 and T-6 tickets. However, due to the higher influx of passengers resulting from the Mahalakshmi scheme, conductors were unable to spend more time issuing these tickets. Consequently, the journey time of services had been affected.

In light of the inconvenience caused to the staff and the commuters, the TSRTC decided to suspend the issuance of Family-24 and T-6 tickets starting from January 1.
