Two youths beaten by locals for ramming into other vehicles in Kukatpally

KUKATPALLY: Two youths were thrashed and their car was destroyed by locals after they rammed their car into other vehicles at Pragati Nagar of Kukatpally on Monday. The two people were reportedly speeding and rash driving under the influence of alcohol.

Locals said that a Polo car hit several two-wheelers and a parked car in Pragati Nagar and when they tried to escape, few motorists chased them and damaged the Polo car near Yellamma Cheruvu.

Police, who rushed to the spot after locals alerted them, took the two injured youths to a nearby hospital. Locals, who witnessed the incident, said that the two people should be punished severely for reckless driving.
