HYDERABAD: WebPT, a leading rehab therapy platform for improving patient care and driving business development, on Monday unveiled its new Global Capabilities Center (GCC) at Raheja Mindspace in Hyderabad.

This new facility would house 600 new team members dedicated to delivering best-in-class revenue cycle management services and client support.

The facility was officially unveiled by Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, and WebPT Chief Executive Officer Ashley Glover.

WebPT has collaborated with Summit Consulting Services to support the Global Capabilities Center. The announcement of the facility was made by IT, Industries, and Municipal Administration Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao earlier in January 2023 at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

WebPT debuted in 2008, kicking off the rehab therapy industry's transition to web-based tools and data-driven care. WebPT is now one of the world's fastest-growing outpatient rehab therapy software platforms, employing nearly 800 people and assisting over 150,000 members in running better, more efficient practises to improve care delivery to patients suffering from a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems.

"WebPT’s mission is simple—to help rehab therapists achieve greatness in practice. We are making a significant investment in the Hyderabad office in order to expand our reach, helping our members grow their business, and empowering more rehab therapists to treat patients needing musculoskeletal care," said Ashley Glover, CEO of WebPT.

"Our Global Capabilities Center brings previously outsourced resources in-house in order to strengthen our talent and streamline operations. We look forward to welcoming new WebPTers who will help maximize member success, revenue, and practice performance", he added.

Telangana Industries and Commerce Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, said “This WebPT centre was announced in WEF Davos and in less than 100 days, the centre is fully functional in Hyderabad. I congratulate the team of WebPT and wish them continued growth and success here. We have seen Hyderabad grow as the apex GCC Hub for Lifesciences and Health Tech companies due to availability of world class infrastructure, talent, ease of living and stable governance.”

“Summit brought the right team and the right partners which has set us up for success", said Paul Shuga, COO, WebPT.

Commenting on the partnership, Founder and CEO, Sandeep Sharma said, "We are proud to have partnered with WebPT in this strategic project.”
