Woman brutally murdered and set on fire in Shamshabad

HYDERABAD: Unknown assailants brutally murdered a woman and set her on fire by pouring petrol at an open land near Sai Enclave of Shamshabad in Ranga Reddy district.

The woman's body was completely burnt.

Upon receiving the information, the police under the supervision of Shamshabad DCP along with the clues team arrived at the spot and inquired about the murder.

The police registered a case and are investigating based on the details retrieved through CCTV footage.

Cylinder explodes at a house in Shamshabad

In another incident, a cylinder exploded at a house under Shamshabad Airport Police Station limits in Ranga Reddy district leaving a couple and their three children sleeping in the house suffer severe injuries.

The injured were shifted to the Osmania hospital for treatment.

It is learned that the roof of the house was destroyed due to the explosion.
