Woman kills husband with help of paramour upon warning over extramarital affair

HYDERABAD: The incident, in which a husband was killed for obstructing an illicit relationship, occurred in the Meerpet police station area of the Rachakonda police Commissionerate on Sunday night. The victim, identified as Ramulu, worked as a lorry driver and lived in Almas Guda in Vanaparthi district.
While his wife, Keshamma, allegedly had an extramarital affair with her distant relative Mancharla Ramu, her husband reprimanded her for her illicit relationship.
In an attempt to eliminate the obstacle posed by her husband, Keshamma quarreled with him three days ago and went to her parental home, taking their children with her.
Subsequently, wife Keshamma along with two others attacked Chinna Ramulu with an axe when no one else was at home, leaving him dead. The accused, Mancharla Ramulu (A1), his helper Ravi (A2), and Chinna Ramulu's wife Keshamma (A3) were apprehended and remanded into custody.
This action was taken based on the technical information obtained from the accused. According to Vanasthalipuram ACP Bheem Reddy, the police upon receiving information arrived at the scene of the crime and detained Ramu as an accused in the case. He said that the police under the guidance of Circle Inspector found in the investigation that the Ramu had murdered Ramulu at the behest of Keshamma.
The ACP assured that further details of the case will be revealed soon.
