ZapCom Group to set up Center of Excellence in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: ZapCom Group Inc, a US-based product engineering and solutions company, has chosen Hyderabad as the location to establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) specializing in AI and NLP driven products for the Travel and Hospitality, Fintech, and Retail sectors.

ZapCom's presence is spread across the United States (California, Texas, and Florida), Central America, and India. The proposed CoE in Hyderabad will initially employ 500, expanding to 1,000+ within a year.

This decision was announced following a meeting between the leadership team of ZapCom, led by its Founder and CEO Kishore Pallamreddy with Minister K T Rama Rao in Washington DC.

Principal Secretary of IT and Industries Departments, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Secretary, Investment Promotion & NRI Affairs, E Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Chief Relations Officer Amarnath Reddy were present at the meeting.

Aerospace- defence round table

IT and Industries Minister KTR led the Aerospace and Defence Roundtable in Washington DC. The event garnered participation from prominent US majors, advisory firms, think tanks, and startups, creating a dynamic platform for discussion and collaboration.

At the roundtable, KTR showcased the spectacular growth of the Aerospace sector and private sector defence investments in Telangana in the past nine years making Hyderabad the most preferred investment destination for US Aerospace and Defense corporations.

Stating that Aerospace and Defence was a thrust sector in Telangana, KTR highlighted how TSiPASS, a revolutionary industrial policy, helped boost industry confidence by granting online time-bound and transparent approvals based on self-certifications.
