2 burnt to death as container truck catches fire in mishap in Medak district

NARSINGI: Two persons were burnt to death when a lorry caught fire in a ghastly road accident on the National Highway in Medak district on Friday. The mishap occurred near Kaslapur in Narsingi mandal after a container truck rammed into another container lorry from behind.

The deceased were identified as Nagaraju and Basvaraju hailing Karnataka. They were travelling in the container lorry from Hyderabad to Nizamabad. Their lorry caught fire after it was hit from behind by another container lorry.

Upon receiving the information from the locals, the police pressed a fire tender into service and extinguished the fire. Tupran Circle Inspector Sridhar said that investigation was going on into the incident.
