50-year-old man arrested for sexually assaulting 8-year-old girl

HYDERABAD: A 50-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl in Pethulla village under the jurisdiction of the Ibrahimpatnam police station.

The incident came to light when the girl's parents discovered the assault and promptly filed a complaint with the police. The accused, Boda Narasimha, was immediately taken into custody and a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered against him. The girl was taken to the hospital for medical examination.

Further investigations into the case are ongoing.
