Child Rights Commission orders immediate action on minor girl's rape and murder case in Peddapalli
The Commission directed the District Collector to submit an Action Taken Report in the case at the earliest.
HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has initiated Suo Motu action following reports of the sexual abuse of a minor girl in Katnapally Village, Sultanabad Mandal, Peddapally District.
The incident, reported in various daily newspapers on Saturday, prompted the Commission to act promptly. The Commission has directed the Collector and District Magistrate of Peddapalli District to prioritise the investigation and instruct the concerned authorities to take immediate action. It also sought an Action Taken Report (ATR) as soon as possible.
Commission's Chairman J Srinivasa Rao emphasised the importance of swift and decisive action in such cases to ensure the protection and justice of children.
