Cock booked for murder in Jagtial district

JAGTIAL: In an uncanny incident that happened in Jagtial district, a rooster was taken into custody for being the reason for the death of a man.

A man named Sattaiah (45), hailing from Kondapur of Velgatoor mandal in Jagtial district, tied a sharp knife to the cock's leg three days ago, which accidentally pierced into the stomach of Sattaiah himself, leading to his death.

The police, who found that the rooster was the reason behind this tragedy, ‘arrested’ the animal and termed it as prime accused. The police will produce the cock in the local court.
