Criminal cases filed against officials for allowing illegal constructions in lakes
Six officials face criminal charges in Cyberabad for permitting illegal constructions in lakes.
HYDERABAD: Action has been initiated against officials who allowed illegal constructions in lakes.
The Cyberabad police have registered criminal cases against six officials. These cases were filed by the Cyberabad Economic Offences Wing following a complaint from the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA).
The officials named in the cases include Nizampet Municipal Commissioner Ramakrishna, GHMC Deputy Commissioner of Chandanagar Sudams, Bachupally MRO Paul Singh, Assistant Director of Land Records in Medchal Malkajgiri district Srinivasulu, Assistant Planning Officer at HMDA Sudhir Kumar and HMDA City Planner Rajkumar, according to Cyberabad Commissioner Avinash Mohanty.
