Minor boy died by suicide by jumping from high-rise building in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Depressed over his failure in clearing three subjects in Intermediate, a girl student jumped off a building to end his life at KPR Colony of Manikonda in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

According to the police, the girl, identified as Shanti Kumari, a native of Kothapet in Rajahmundry, resided with her family in Manikonda's KPR Colony. In the Telangana Intermediate results 2023, released on Tuesday, Shanti Kumari failed to clear three subjects.

Feeling humiliated and depressed, the girl resorted to the extreme step by jumping from the top of their building. With grievous injuries, she was rushed to a nearby hospital by her family members. Shanti Kumari was later pronounced dead while being treated.
