Film Nagar police register POCSO case against 20-year-old for assaulting 6-year-old

HYDERABAD: The Film Nagar police station registered a POCSO case against a 20-year-old youngster who sexually assaulted a six-year-old minor girl in Hyderabad.
According to reports, the victim's mother had left her at her uncle's house as she was admitted to a hospital for surgery.The victim was reportedly assaulted by the uncle's son.
The mother, who returned home upon her discharge from hospital, noticed the girl's distress and questioned her. In response, the victim revealed that the uncle's son (20) had given her chocolate and assaulted her.
The police swiftly registered a case against the accused under the POCSO Act and are currently conducting an investigation.
