Fire breaks out at Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City, four workers injured

VISAKHAPATNAM: In yet another industrial mishap in Andhra Pradesh, a fire broke out at the Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City in Parawada, Visakhapatnam district. This incident comes shortly after the recent accident at the Achyutapuram SEZ.

The fire erupted at Synergen Active Ingredients company around midnight while chemicals were being mixed. Four workers were injured in the incident, with one of them reported to be in critical condition.

The injured workers have been rushed to a private hospital in Visakhapatnam for treatment.
