NARAYANPET: Four persons were killed and a child was seriously injured after two bikes collided on the outskirts of Hindupur village near Nallagattu Maremma temple in Narayanapet district on Thursday night.

According to information available, Palle Ashok (30) of Obulapur village in Maganur mandal was travelling to Hindupur village on a bike to see his wife and at the same time, Anjaneyulu (36) and his wife Narsamma (32), along with their two children Anirudh (4) Somrata (3) from Krishna Mandal, were proceeding to Maktal on a bike to participate in an auspicious event.

However, the two bikes collided after reaching the rice mill on the outskirts of Hindupur village of Krishna Mandal, resulting in the death of Ashok on the spot.
