Gang of two held for series of thefts in Medchal Malkajgiri, seized

HYDERABAD: The Medipally police have arrested a gang of two resorting to the series of thefts at Boduppal of Chengicharla in Medchal Malkajgiri district.

The two thieves were identified as Rapolu Krishna (19) hailing from Mahabubabad district and Sampangi Sambaiah (37) from Nekkonda in Hanamkonda district have a history of criminal activities and were booked under various cases.

The duo migrated to Hyderabad for livelihood and were making their living by doing centring work. As their earning was not sufficient to meet their luxurious needs, the duo started resorting to robbery.

However, during a special operation, the Medipally police apprehended the duo and recovered 25 tolas of gold and silver items along with a bike from their possession and sent them to remand.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police Janaki congratulated the staff and extended rewards to them.
