Gunfire causes flutter in railway coach

Gunfire has caused a flutter in a moving train on Thursday.

HYDERABAD: Gunfire has caused a flutter in a moving train on Thursday.

According to information reaching here, two soldiers of Indian army, Vishal and Baljith Singh, were travelling to New Delhi from Secunderabad in B4 air-conditioned coach in Secunderabad-Hazarath Nizamuddin Express.

While the train was around Mancherial, Vishal took out his service revolver and opened fire into the air (aiming to the roof of the coach).

Passengers in the train were tensed and shocked over the firing. The Chief Ticket Inspector of the coach lodged a complaint with the police. Both army personnel were de-trained and detained by the Kagaz Nagar General Railway Police. The police are investigating the case.
