HYDERABAD: The Bengaluru police have named five individuals as accused in a rave party held at a farmhouse near Electronic City. Vasu, a prominent businessman from Hyderabad, was found to have organized the event, which saw an attendance of around 150 people. The party, intended to run non-stop from Sunday evening to Monday morning, was raided by the police, leading to the detention of five people, including Vasu.

The police reported that drugs were consumed at the party, which was ostensibly held to celebrate Vasu's birthday. An FIR has been registered against Siddiqui, Randhir, and Raj Bhav for drug peddling.

The investigation revealed that the GR Farmhouse, where the rave party was held, belongs to Gopal Reddy from Hyderabad. The police, acting on a tip-off, conducted a raid that lasted until 3 AM, uncovering substantial drug use. Sensational details emerged from the raid, including the discovery of various drugs and the presence of numerous attendees from the Telugu states, including individuals from the Telugu film industry.

Among the items seized were 17 grams of MDMA, cocaine, and 15 high-end cars. A vehicle with a pass in the name of YCP MLA Kakani Govardhana Reddy was found at the scene, though Kakani denied any involvement, claiming no connection to the car. The Electronic City Police have registered a case and are continuing their investigation.

Reports indicate that over 30 models and Kannada serial actors were present, alongside 30 young women and 70 young men from Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad who had flown in for the event. The organizers reportedly received Rs. 30 - 50 lakhs for hosting the party. The identities of some movie and political personalities remain undisclosed, pending the results of medical tests conducted by the police.

Speculation about the attendance of notable Tollywood figures has surfaced, with rumours circulating that famous Telugu actress Hema was present. Hema, however, released a video denying her involvement, stating she was in Hyderabad. Contradictory reports later claimed that the Bangalore police had her in custody, accusing her of attempting to mislead the public.

Additionally, it was rumoured that Telugu film actor Srikanth was among those detained. Srikanth released a video from his Hyderabad home, denying these allegations and asserting that he rarely attends parties or pubs. He suggested that a lookalike might have caused the confusion.
