HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) and Osmania University Police arrested an interstate drug dealer and seized 20 Ecstasy pills, five LSD blots, and four grammes of MDMA, all worth Rs 1 lakh, a cell phone, and Rs 4,000 in cash.

In order to make quick money, the primary suspect, Priteesh Narayan Borkar, also known as Khali, a resident of Goa, connected with Manzoor Ahmed. The two of them then began buying drugs like ecstasy pills, LSD blots, MDMA, and chara in large quantities from Thukaram Salgovkar, Vikas Naik, Ramesh Chowhan, Steve Edwin, and Sanja Gowekar for less money and selling them for a higher price.


These individuals have been selling drugs in Anjuna Beach, Telangana, and AP for the past eight years. The accused, Priteesh Narayan Borkar alais Babu was also apprehended by the Panjim Narcotics Department, and a case under the NDPS Act was filed against him in Cr. No.26/2014.

The Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) and Osmania University Police Department (OPS) detained the drug dealer there on August 16, 22, and 23 when he attempted to sell drugs to drug addicts at Habsiguda.

Osmania University Police Department was able to seize 20 Ecstasy tablets, 5 LSD blots, and 4 marijuana joints from the drug dealer. After being questioned, he admitted that approximately 600 people buy the aforementioned medications from him for personal use, of whom 166 people have been identified and a few more are yet to be identified.

In an effort to stop such anti-social behaviour and work toward a drug-free city, Hyderabad City Police has requested youth and students not to become drug addicts. The city police also requested the parents to keep an eye on their children's activities and contact police for help 9490616688.
