Hyderabad police nabs two offenders in jewellery theft case

HYDERABAD: The Special Zonal Crime Team, South zone and East zone, along with Madannapet Police, apprehended two accused persons and recovered a total of 209 grams of gold ornaments, 1kg and 250 grams of silver ornaments, net cash of Rs. 35,000, two 2-wheelers, and three cell phones from their possession.
The police in Madannapet received a complaint from Sudershan Singh on June 4, 2023, claiming that some unknown criminals stole gold jewellery by breaking the door lock when they were not present at their house.
Based on reliable information, on June 12, 2023, the sleuths of Special Zonal Crime Teams, South Zone and East Zone, CCS verified the CCTV footage at the scene of the crime and surrounding areas, identified the suspects, and nabbed the accused.
They admitted to being involved in the theft during the investigation. The police recovered 209 grams of gold ornaments, 1 kg and 250 grams of silver ornaments, Rs. 35,000 in cash, two two-wheelers, and three cell phones from their possessions.
