Hyderabad youth held for harassing a woman with explicit photos

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Cyber Crime police arrested a man, Abdul Fayyaz, for allegedly blackmailing an 18-year-old girl with her nude pictures, on Wednesday. According to reports, Abdul Fayaz, who hailed from Basheer Bagh, had an affair with the girl in 2021 and took nude photos while they were dating.

The accused threatened the young woman with those pictures. In 2021, a case was registered against the accused in two police stations, Nampally and Narayanaguda, after which he was in jail for three months.

Reportedly, he did not change even after coming out on bail. He sent nude photos of the young woman to her family members and threatened them.

The family members of the young woman approached the cyber crime police who registered a case and carried out an investigation. The police arrested the accused Abdul Fayaz and sent him to remand.
