NANDYAL: A man named was caught attempting to rape a schoolgirl studying in the seventh grade.
The incident occurred in Kasipuram village of Avuku Mandal in Nandyal district. Hearing the girl's screams, locals rushed to the scene, apprehended the accused, Dasayya, and tied him up. They then beat the accused before handing him over to the police.
Police have registered a case and began the investigation.
