HYDERABAD: In a surprising turn of events, a reported murder in Madhura Nagar was revealed to be a false alarm after police investigations confirmed that the victim had accidentally injured himself.
The incident unfolded when a Dial-100 call was received at 7:45 am, alerting authorities to a pool of blood and a pair of chappals at Rahmath Nagar.
Upon thorough investigation, police discovered that the victim, identified as 22-year-old Varshith, also known as Sonu, had accidentally severed a blood vein in his right foot while attempting to break a quarter bottle between 1:30 am and 2:00 am the previous night.
Varshith was initially taken to a nearby clinic for immediate care and was later transferred to Wellness Hospital in Ameerpet for more comprehensive treatment. Fortunately, his condition is now reported to be stable.
Authorities have clarified that there was no foul play involved in the incident, which had been mistakenly circulated as a murder case in the media.
